Deadlines & Eligibility:

Applicants will be able to update their application materials until 11:59 pm EST on Monday, January 20, 2025. After that time, applications will be locked, and no further changes will be allowed. College students and recent college graduates are eligible to apply. All fields must be completed, documents uploaded, and reference letters received in order for the application to be considered complete and reviewed by the internship committee. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their application materials are complete and submitted on time.


Reference Letters:

Referees will have until 11:59 pm EST on January 27, 2024, to submit letters of support on behalf of applicants. Each application must have two letters of support. Once an application is submitted, each referee will receive an email with a unique link to submit a letter of support. 

If a referee has not received an email, please ask the referee to search his or her spam or junk folder for a message from "Submittable."

It is the responsibility of each applicant to ensure that his or her referees have submitted their letters of support. Applicants may check Submittable to see if this step has been completed. Letters of support are considered confidential and applicants will not be able to view their letters of support, but they will be able to see whether the letters have been submitted.

You may apply to more than one seminar, but you must ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements for each seminar. Eligibility requirements are listed on each seminar's webpage at winst.org/summer.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. For each seminar, applications will be accepted up to one week before the start of each seminar. For example, to join the first seminar, "AI and Religious Belief," which begins October 8th, applications should be submitted by October 1st. Current high school students in 10th, 11th, and 12th grades are eligible to apply.

Participation:
There are only a limited number of spots for these seminars. Should you be accepted to the seminar, we expect you to prepare the readings thoroughly, listen to your instructors and fellow students attentively, and participate with thoughtfulness and generosity. We reserve the right to revoke your admittance to the seminar for any disruptive behavior not in keeping with the spirit of truth-seeking, collegiality and respect we expect from all our participants.


Fee:
Accepted students need to submit a nonrefundable $25.00 registration fee per seminar. This fee will not be refunded should you withdraw, miss a session, or have your admittance to the seminar revoked.
